Hurricane Idalia

We are monitoring the current models and projections for Hurricane Idalia.  At this time, Hurricane Idalia is expected to land on the west coast of Florida on Wednesday, August 30 at approximately 8:00 a.m. Forecasters expect Hurricane Idalia to weaken to a tropical storm while crossing through Georgia and into South Carolina.  Our area is forecast to receive 3 to 6 inches of rain over several hours and moderate winds beginning Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
